I love this bike, it has proved to be rather adapt covering the ground I have pointed it at, whether that be country lanes, gravel tracks or chalky singletracks it handles itself very well. Being nibble and stable at the same time which is quite a combination to pull off. As it's set up with MTB gearing and brakes it's not got the straight line speed of a road bike, but it does allow for easy climbing on the various sharp climbs in the North Wessex AONB just north of Andover. I have a compromise type on in the shape of the Schwalbe Land Cruisers, which has proved to be able to hold it's own on the various terrains we have been traversing. All in all, if i had to dropped to one bike from the current quiver, then this would be the one to stay.
