So after much pondering on many websites, I came to the decision to purchase a Voodoo Hoodoo, the catalyst was the review from the magazine What Mountain Bike, which had given the Voodoo Hoodoo the accolade of Total Bargain 2012 and five stars to boot. So off we went to our local Halfords Store and purchased the bike post-haste. Even better it was on offer so i got it for even less.
As with all things, it has now been relegated to the bike around town, due to the arrival of the 29er.....

So as with all things that men get involved in as hobbies there is a certain level of brand snobbery and tinkering to be had, especially with a bike which just like a car, which can be modified and upgraded....So that it is a better bike.
To date we have changed the handle bars, stem, seat, seat post and gone from 3X9 gears to the not quite fashionable 1X9 gear setup. Needless to say all the components which have come off the bike will be put back on if we ever decide to sell the bike on. The modifications/upgrades have all been items found on Ebay or Bicycle Shop Website sales, so it hasn't cost two much money so far. With the arrival of the Cube 29er it's been relegated to the shopping mule, with the addition of a rack and cheap panniers.
The Specification of the Bike is as follows:
