Strava is really pushing ways for 3rd parties to interact with it's members, another example of this is the Le Col 5 Hour Challenge - So i have completed the challenge - ride for five hours and get a voucher towards buying clothes from their website. (With terms and conditions apply.) I have to say they do add an incentive to get out when the weather it's not so pleasant.

Out to Broughton and back via Stockbridge. 32.9km in distance, 1 hour and 49 minutes in duration. Warm enough for shorts and short sleeved jersey, but it seemed to be regardless which direction i was riding in there was a headwind....
A very warm and sunny morning, 37.3 Km in just over two hours. Highlight of the ride was the Pheasant shooting which was going on due to it being the glorious 12th of October and the start of the shooting season. The beaters where flushing the birds from the left over the Red Rice road to the shooters who where spread out in the fields on the right had side of the road. At either end of the shoot where a couple of Gamekeepers which red flags who seemed to be in control of the event.
33.33km and 234 metres of ascent this morning, but does it count because it wasn't recorded on Strava? Much like the old question "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" So out to Thruxton via Monxton and Amport and back to Andover via Grateley and Kentboro. On my returned mapped out the route 'Mapometer'.
In the last few weeks, the rides out have been in all directions out of Andover, but seem to always amount to about 30km's in length, Have revisited the bridleways around Harewood Forest and out on towards Branbury. A handy website to generate a personnel Strava heatmap - can be found here.
