Foggy Morning, avoided the very muddy bridleways and rode out to Clanville, Appleshaw and then back via Fyfield and Monxton and Anna Valley 27 kilometres in a hour and a half with a short stop at Monxton.

The Soggy weather continues with a very very wet Sunday Cycle Ride, which included a new bridle path from Red Rice to Clatford Oakcuts via the Dipden Bottom which proved to be aptly named and rather muddy. At least it was a good opportunity to test out my Sportful Hot Pack NoRain Jacket, which did the job rather well.
Sunday morning's ride proved to be a very soggy one indeed - a short loop South of Andover which took in Red Rice, Kentboro, Grateley and Monxton.
Two Hour Blast, same route as previous outings....Rather Misty with some great God Rays seen, unfortunately the camera on my phone doesn't do the light justice.
Well the Sky was the colour of steel, and it rained all the way around this Sunday Morning's ride, came back rather soggy, in fact as wet as a otter's pocket some would say. The route was the reverse of last weeks so we cycled the Roman Way from the Hungerford lane end up to Conholt and then back via Clanville, Weyhill and Monxton. So 32 kilometres in 2 hours, once at Conholt it is all down hill so that made up for the hard going on the very muddy Roman Road. The Highlight of the day was while cycling though the Anton Lakes Nature Reverse, saw a flash of blue pass down the brook beside the cycle path, it was a Kingfisher in all his glistening glory, that was the Natural History highlight of the day, there where also loads of newly released pheasants running around the country lanes and bridle paths and the occasional Grey Squirrel was to be seen.
